Parque Florestal de Monsanto – Onde a Natureza se une com a Cidade
Localizado na Serra de Monsanto, no concelho de Lisboa, o Parque Florestal de Monsanto constitui-se no “pulmão verde” da cidade, contando com cerca de 1000 hectares. Tendo-se iniciado a arborização da Serra em 1940, este parque é, atualmente, o habitat de diversas espécies animais e vegetais.

Monsanto Forest Park – Where Nature Meets the City
Located in the Monsanto Mountain, in the county of Lisbon, the Monsanto Forest Park is considered the “Green Lung” of the city, with 1000 hectares, approximately. The Sierra arborization started in 1940, and today, this park is the natural habitat for various animal and vegetable species.
Bioblitz em Serralves
Serralves organizou o Bioblitz 2018 e convidou as escolas a descobrir a fauna e a flora que habitam no Parque. Ao longo de uma semana, entre 16 e 20 de abril, as atividades foram realizadas com alunos e professores. No fim de semana que se seguiu, 21 e 22 de abril, o público em geral, especialmente em grupos familiares, também puderam participar no evento. Esta iniciativa pretendeu identificar e inventariar as diferentes espécies num curto período de tempo.
