Wasp Velutina: A Lost Battle?
In 2019 in the northern area of Portugal (not only in Portugal) the situation of the Velutian wasps is uncontrolled, creating pressure on biodiversity and to its ecosystems and According to one of the responsible for the creation of the SOS VESPAS platform the battle fought to contain the advance of the Velutina wasps lacks awareness on the part of the political power. The Vespa Vellutina is a major predator of bees and questioning the economic viability of beekeeping as well as the pollination of the flowers that sustain agriculture, is an alarming issue for all of us.

A luta do mar para derrubar 3 gigantes
No litoral de Esposende facilmente se avistam as 3 torres que se erguem junto à praia de Ofir. Desde os anos 70 que se ergueram estas torres habitacionais, bem junto ao areal da praia de Ofir. Rapidamente o mar foi ganhando espaço à praia e, atualmente, este chega a ruir as construções erguidas por homens. Seguiram-se inúmeras tentativas de conter os avanços do mar. Atualmente é visível a obra de engenharia que o Homem construiu para lutar contra a erosão costeira.
