The biggest cork exporter in the world, Amorim Cork produces 50% of the world’s cork. The company was founded in 1870 and became internationally known in 1960. One of the units – Amorim Florestal , located in Coruche deals particular with the raw material, its selection and preparation. They procuce 5000 bottle stopperspers per day.
