Deste o mais pequeno ao maior dos animais marinhos, tem sido crescente o número de espécimes capturados ou que dão à costa com o evidente registo da ingestão de resíduos plásticos. Com esse tipo de resíduo lançado nos oceanos de forma crescente e que já chegou a 9 milhões de toneladas por ano, potencia-se o consumo de plástico pela fauna marinha quando os animais engolem inadvertidamente porções de plástico de diferentes dimensões e que se encontram nas áreas adjacentes às fontes de alimentos ou quando os fragmentos de plástico são confundidos com o alimento.

Troca e renova a Aldeia Circular
Vinte seis elementos de associações parcerias e alunos voluntários conheceram o projeto Aldeia Circular, promovido pela União de Freguesias de Seide . Colaboram com um centro comunitário de compostagem, com horta biológica pedagógica associada. A iniciativa ocorreu em Seide, pertencente ao município de Vila Nova de Famalicão. Esta foi a 3ª, e última ação de voluntariado ambiental local, que decorreu no âmbito da iniciativa Mais Voluntariado Jovem, promovido pela YUPI, EDUPA e Associação Famalicão em Transição, com a parceria de várias entidades, nas quais se inclui a, Agrupamento de Escolas D.Sanho I, Didáxis de Riba D’Ave, Agrupamento de Escolas de Pedome e OFICINA.

“We pollute where we play and live. Why? “
The beaches and the sea make are fundamental in our planet, they are places where we play, we rest and appreciate the nature. But with every day that increases pollution, and with it the beauty is lost and the living beings who live in these habitats die. Stop destroying our Planet, let there be a future for all of us.
