Observação surpreendente e inesperada
Lepas anatifera, também denominado por percebe da madeira, é um crustáceo hermafrodita, não comestível, muito pouco visível pelas praias do concelho da Marinha Grande, apesar de ser abundante no Oceano Atlântico. Ao contrário do percebe comum, que se fixa às rochas e é muito frequente nesta zona do litoral, aquele fixa-se em grande número a qualquer objeto flutuante, tais como boias, garrafas, pedaços de madeira e até animais marinhos, tais como tartarugas.
