Arriving to the place where we filmed the interview, in Praia dos Pescadores, we came across the adverse conditions of the fishing port.
The silting prevents the “jagozes” fishermen from moving their boats, basically the sand covers a ramp that allow the boats to enter and exit from the sea. In addition, it is possible to see failed attempts of the construction of infrastructures, which supposedly prevented the sand from entering the port, which has the opposite effect, leaving numerous rocks scattered on the floor and on the sea. These rocks make serious damages on the boats.
To sum up, the many bad impacts ends up reflecting in the sad and revolted fishermen we interviewed.
