A big festival in a small village
Moto club Gós is a motorcycle club that was founded in 1991. It is based in Góis, which is a small town in the central region of Portugal. Each year in August the club organizes off-road motorcycle events that increasingly promote their concern on the topic of environmental sustainability.

The village of Tarrastal is a 900 year old hidden gem within the municipality of Góis which has not housed more than 50 habitants since 1911. Today there are no permanent habitants. “The villages are alone without nobody”, said Lucas, a founding member of development programs in the region.
Lousitânea – League of Friends of Serra da Lousã
With the expansion of urbanization and climate change traditional cultures and ecosystems around the rural area of Góis are in jeopardy. In order to fight this issue many humanitarian activities have been made which highlights that the locals are aware of this issue. An example of this is Lousitânea.
