Fusing Plastic”, is a technique, which fuses plastic packaging, with an iron, to give life to new objects. Ironing plastic bags and other types of packaging, creates a versatile material that can be used in different durable, practical, useful and attractive creations. This way of reusing is incredible for creating and reducing waste with materials that would seemingly be of no use after having had an ephemeral use.

Responsabilizar(-te) em busca de uma solução
Em 2020, 15 mil voluntários participaram numa investigação para saber quais eram as marcas que contribuem mais para a poluição do ambiente.Das 346.494 peças de resíduos plásticos que encontraram, 63% eram de marcas perfeitamente identificáveis. Entre essas, as marcas encontradas em maior número, foram respetivamente, Coca Cola Company, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Unilever e Mondelez International. Estas empresas foram as que mais contribuíram para esta catástrofe, em linha com o seu volume de negócio.
É urgente que o nível de lucro destas empresas estejam acompanhados de medidas de mitigação do grande impacto que têm na terra e nos oceanos. Cabe aos consumidores exigirem que estas empresas tenham a responsabilidade de se adaptarem a esta situação dramática em que o plástico de uso único se tornou.
